About Me

A Civil Servant with a Pen, a Backpack, and a Heart for Stories

Biography

I am an Assistant Commissioner serving in Karachi — a city that teaches you urgency, humility, and resilience every single day. My journey in public service has taken me through diverse neighborhoods, remote towns, crowded corridors of administration, and moments that never make headlines but shape lives quietly.
Before stepping into public service, I lived and studied in Spain, a place that opened my eyes to new cultures, languages, and ways of thinking. That experience became my bridge to understanding humanity beyond borders — and my introduction to writing with observation, empathy, and curiosity.
My work often brings me face-to-face with people at their most vulnerable moments. Polio campaigns in scorching heat, flood-affected communities searching for hope, students striving for a chance, shopkeepers fighting for fairness, elderly citizens needing attention — these encounters are my true classroom. Each day teaches me something new about leadership, patience, dignity, and the power of listening.
Writing has always been my quiet refuge.
I started with diaries — scribbles of tired evenings, small victories, funny incidents, and reflections that stayed between me and a pen. Today, those pages have grown, and it feels like time to share.
